Why Honoring Life? (click here for more pics)
'The Honoring Life' annual Event was created by artist Sara Shai, author of "Beautiful in Black: Conversations with Suicide." The narrative, nonfiction book, illustrates the triumph over the challenges before and after her husband's suicide, as she dealt with the stigma, the shame, and the blame. Ultimately, she navigated her way out of the darkness to a place of freedom. Her deep desire to contribute her strengths and hope to others , was the catalyst to finally take action and empower people to achieve what is possible.
Our Vision People recognize their greatness and venture into what is possible for them. People live in harmony and honor each other.
