ASIST is a two day workshop in suicide fist aid.  ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety.

SafeTalk Training

This participatory half-day (4 hrs) workshop is designed for community members to recognize individuals with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide intervention. The "safe" of safeTALK stands for "suicide alertness for everyone. Participants learn to identify and connect with individuals with thoughts of suicide using TALK: Tell, Ask, Listen, and KeepSafe. SafeTALK is an awareness program whose purpose is to inform the community about what could be done if there were sufficient resources. Workshop can only be completed in person.
